A Long History of Caring

Yankton County EMS has provided 911 coverage around the clock in Yankton County and South Yankton since the 1960's. Over the years, Yankton County EMS has evolved from a volunteer service to staffing full-time and part-time providers. Our care has increased from basic service to Paramedic level treatment, providing interventions in the field before the patient arrives at the hospital.
